Payment Options

Online Card Payments

Visa, Master and American express Card payments are processed through an online payment gateway system. You need not worry about your card information falling into the wrong hands because your bank will authorize the card transaction directly without any information passing through us. In approximately 25-30 seconds (depending on your internet connection) your bank will issue, using the online payment gateway, an authorization code and confirmation of completion of transaction. Transacting online with a credit card at the Website is even safer than using a credit card at a restaurant because we do not retain your credit card information. You can be assured that Affordable Travel Packages offers you the highest standards of security currently available on the internet so as to ensure that your shopping experience is private, safe and secure. If the payment on the credit card is declined for some reason, alternate payment instructions must be received by Affordable Travel Packages 72 hours prior to the time of departure; else, the order is liable to be cancelled. Affordable Travel Packages charges a service fee on all domestic airline bookings. In case of cancellation of booking, this fee is non-refundable.

Internet Banking

If you have an account with any of the below mentioned banks, then you can pay for your order through respective bank’s net banking options and the amount will be automatically debited from your account. “www.affordabletravelpackages.com” processes the payments through an online gateway system which enables safe and secure transaction. Bank is not responsible for any inconvenience caused or non receipt of the tickets or passengers not allowed on the basis of E-tickets.

Pay at hotel reception (“Post Pay”)

With some of our partner hotels Affordable Travel Packages has negotiated a special facility where Affordable Travel Packages customers can pay the hotel directly at the reception at the time of check-in at the hotel.

Transaction Confirmation

You should not take any action based on information on the Website until you have received a confirmation of your transaction. In case of confirmations to be received by email, if you do not receive a confirmation of your purchase/transaction within the stipulated time period, first look into your “spam” or “junk” folder to verify that it has not been misdirected, and if still not found, please contact our call centre.

Electronic Tickets (“e-Tickets”)

What is an e-Ticket?

An e-Ticket is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number given to passengers in place of a paper ticket. Passengers are required to produce the unique confirmation number at the airport airline counter to claim the e-Ticket.

How will I get my e-Ticket details?

Your e-Ticket details will be sent to your email address provided by you at the time of making the payment for your booking. In case you do not have an email address, the details will be given to you over the phone.

Paper Tickets

All GDS carrier (Air India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, and JetLite) will be dispatched to the delivery address provided at the time of booking within 3 business days of making the booking. All the tickets would be couriered to you without any additional cost. Affordable Travel Packages shall not be held responsible if customer is not available at the time of delivery.

Is it necessary to show my Affordable Travel Packages Reference Number Confirmation email at the airport check-in counter of the airline?

It is not mandatory to show your Affordable Travel Packages Reference Number Confirmation email. In case you are not carrying the Affordable Travel Packages Reference Number Confirmation email, you will need to show a photographic identity proof (passport, driver’s license etc.) at the airport check-in counter of the airline. However, it is advisable that you carry your Affordable Travel Packages Reference Number Confirmation email and e-Ticket together.

Is it necessary to carry my e-ticket with me?

Yes, it is mandatory for you to carry a copy of your e-ticket as sent by AffordableTravelPackages.com. In the event that you fail to present a copy of your e-ticket, AB Affordable Travel Packages Pvt Ltd will not be held responsible if the Airline does not issue a boarding pass/ disallows you from traveling.

How will I get my boarding pass for an e-Ticket?

You will need to show your e-Ticket confirmation email and e-Ticket number along with a photographic identity proof (passport, driver’s license etc.) at the airport check-in counter of the airline. The airline representative will issue your boarding pass at that time.

Prepaid Ticket Advice (“PTA”)

A PTA is a Prepaid Ticket Advice. We will give you a PTA number that you need to present at the airport check-in counter of the airline. The airline representative will print and give you your ticket at that time.

Amendment and Cancellation policy

You can cancel domestic flight bookings online. Log in to My Bookings, select the relevant booking and click the Cancel button. For online cancellation, Affordable Travel Packages will charge Rs. 300 per person per sector as standard cancellation charges.

To amend/cancel your ticket offline, contact Affordable Travel Packages Customer Care at +91-124-2577733. For international flight bookings, call+91-124-2577733. For all offline cancellation of domestic flights a standard charge of Rs. 500 per person per sector , over and above the airline’s own cancellation charge will apply. While for international flight bookings a standard fee of Rs 750 per person would be charged, over and above the airline’s own cancellation charge.

For rescheduling of domestic flights, Affordable Travel Packages will charge Rs. 300 per person per sector as standard rescheduling charges.

For No-Show of domestic flights, Affordable Travel Packages will charge Rs. 100 per person per sector as standard No-Show charges Please refer to airline specific amendment and cancellation policy while using Affordable Travel Packages Services. You may be required to directly contact the nearest airline office (of the concerned airline) to get your reservation cancelled.

How do I get a refund after canceling my ticket?

After canceling your booking, you will need to send us the paper ticket to the following address:

On receiving the ticket, the refund shall be processed within 30 days from the date of receipt.

In case of e-Tickets and PTA, the refund shall be processed within 15 – 20 working days from the date of the cancellation request being made. If we have received the payment through a valid credit card, then the same will be refunded to your credit card. Payments made using any other form of payment will be refunded by cheque within a maximum of 30 days from date of receipt of ticket. All refunds shall be processed subject to processing of refunds by the respective airline/service provider.

What are the cancellation/amendment charges?

Cancellation and/or amendment of airline tickets shall at all times be subject to fees/charges/levies/payments as may be levied/payable to the relevant airline/carrier in accordance with such relevant airline/carrier cancellation/refund policy. Prior to booking tickets, you must acquaint yourself with the relevant airline/carrier cancellation/refund policy with respect to the ticket to be booked by you. Any cancellation/amendment fees/charges/levies/payments levied by/payable to the relevant airline shall be to your account.

Except to the extent stated in the individual airline/carrier terms and conditions or otherwise applicable to specific tickets booked/issued, cancellation fee are payable as follows.

For all offline cancellation of domestic flights a standard charge of Rs. 200 per person per sector, over and above the airline’s own cancellation charge will apply. While for international flight bookings a standard fee of Rs 400 per person would be charged, over and above the airline’s own cancellation charge. The customer must read individual airline specific terms and conditions in order to find out if the ticket proposed to be booked/purchased is subject to any additional cancellation fee or charge and Affordable Travel Packages assumes no liability whatsoever in this regard.

Note: Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is mandatory to contact Affordable Travel Packages for refunds and the airline will route the refund for your tickets booked on the Website, through Affordable Travel Packages.

The above mentioned cancellation process and refund processing time may vary. In case of lost or damaged tickets, the refund process cannot be initiated with the airline. Refund would be through cheque or demand draft.

Terms & Conditions for Packages


All information given in the Tour Program is based on the best information available at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change any program information before or after your booking the tour due to any events beyond our control. In case we are aware of any change sufficiently in advance we will notify you at the time of booking, otherwise our tour manager or local representative will inform you of the changes.


The menus are pre-set menus provided by the hotels for breakfast on the tour. The type of breakfast is clearly indicated in the tour program and unlike an airline, we cannot process a special meal nor do we guarantee a special diet to the customer. We however reserve the right to change the meal arrangement if circumstances make it necessary to do so. In the event that a tour participant wakes up late and misses the breakfast offered to him and in the event that the tour participant is out on his own and reaches late and misses lunch / dinner, then no claim can be made for the meal which he has utilized.


We have taken care to select hotels which are comfortable whilst keeping the cost down. In some of the hotels in Europe the rooms doesn’t have private bath or shower. The hotels will either be those shown in the program or of the same category. In Europe, since the rooms are comparatively small we would recommend only 3 persons in one room for your own comfort. Triple rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms and the third bed is often a rollway cot put in a twin room for the night. In USA in a triple room, no extra bed or cot is provided. All Meals are preset , we can request special meal requirement but cant guarantee


All baggage and personal effects are at all times and under all circumstances your responsibility. We will not be responsible or liable in case of their theft or robbery of the said items from the hotel. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / coach during your stay, shall be payable by the clients and Affordable Travel Packages will not be liable for the same.


For the convenience of our passengers or due to certain unavoidable circumstances we might operate more than one coach or we sometimes change the direction or slightly amend the program. We will try and advise you of any changes prior to the start of the tour on or tour. In the event that a tour participant misses or any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.


The coaches / cars used on our programs are air-conditioned but in case it is Non Air conditioned it would be told in advance, as in case of some country where there is no requirement for AC vans/coaches. On our long tour programs we have found it fair to operate daily seat rotation on board our coach, so no seat numbers are allocated.


All passengers travelling on a Affordable Travel Packages tour program must be possession of a valid visa. However kindly note that it is entirely at the discretion of the concerned consulate / authorize to grant / reject visa even after submitting all relevant documents and Affordable Travel Packages will not be held responsible for the same. Passengers whose visa are not granted by the consulates must intimate Affordable Travel Packages in advance


A transfer from one tour program to another, prior to the departure to the originally booked tour will be treated as cancellation on that tour, thereby attracting the cancellation charges as stated in these terms, and a fresh booking of another.


If due to unavoidable reasons you need to cancel the tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing and the documents supplied (if any) should be returned to Affordable Travel Packages. As per the booking conditions of the tour, following cancellation charges would be levied :

14-08 days prior to departure 50% of total tour cost

07-05 days prior to departure 75% of total tour cost

Less than 04 Days or No Show 100% of total tour cost

Due to unavoidable circumstances, Affordable Travel Packages reserve the rights to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. All money paid by passengers will be fully refunded in Indian currency only, but no compensation whatsoever is payable.


Refunds (if any) for amendments and / or cancellations will be paid directly to passengers only for bookings made directly with a Affordable Travel Packages office. For bookings routed through our Preferred Sales agent (P.S.A.) or your travel agent, the refund will be routed through the same. There is no refund payable for any unutilized services (e.g. Meals, Entrance fees, optional Tours, Hotels, sightseeing etc.). It would take at least 15 days to process refunds from the date of receipt of advice.


We are travel and holiday organizers only. We do not control or operate any airline, neither do we own or control any shipping company, transport company, hotel, transport or any other facility or service mentioned in the brochure. We take care in selecting all the ingredients in your holidays; but because we only select and inspect them and have no control in running them, we cannot be responsible for any injury, death, loss or damage which is caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any hoteliers, airlines, shipping company, transport owner / operator, railways and any other transport & accommodation media who are the company’s independent contractors arising outside our normal selection and inspection process.
