Croatia is an Eastern European country with long coastlines on the Adriatic Sea, encompassing more than a thousand islands, crossed by the Dinaric Alps and dotted with castles. Its inland capital, Zagreb, is distinguished by its medieval Gornji Grad (Upper Town) and diverse museums. The major coastal city Dubrovnik has massive 16th-century walls encircling an Old Town with Gothic and Renaissance buildings.
Slovenia, a country in Central Europe, is known for its mountains, outdoor recreation and ski resorts. Set on a glacial lake fed by thermal springs, the town of Bled contains a church-topped islet and a cliffside medieval castle. Nearby Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps offers skiing and hiking, plus rafting along the Soča River, renowned for aquamarine water.
Day 1 Arrival to Zagreb airport. Transfer to the hotel in Zagreb area. Zagreb grew up on two neighboring hills: Kaptol – the centre of spiritual and religious life of north-western Croatia and Gradec – the commercial centre of skilful tradesmen and craftsmen. Overnight at the hotel in Zagreb area.
Day 2 Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Zagreb to Plitvice for first UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour (duration approx. 2 hrs). Visit of the Plitvice National Park with local guide (duration approx. 3hrs) Plitvice National Park is one of the most beautiful and best preserved national parks in the country. This is why the entire lakes and surrounding area were declared a national park in 1949 and are listed on the UNESCO`s list of World Heritage Sites because of its exceptional beauty. It is a valley situated between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue and green waters. Fed by small streams and brooks, they spill into each other in 92 foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. The Plitvice lakes` scenery will simply delight you regardless whether you are walking the paths and wooden bridges, taking a boat ride or just taking photographs. Free time for lunch on own. Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel Full day Istria tour excursion with local guide (duration approx. 9 hrs) Transfer from Opatija to Poreč for second UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour. Go back in history and visit one the most significan tourist region in Croatia and its beautiful towns. Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica sightseeing with local guide (duration approx. 1,5hrs) Euphrasius Basilica or the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of Mary is the episcopal complex, including, apart the basilica itself, a sacristy, a baptistery and the bell tower of the nearby archbishop’s palace, and is one of the best examples of early Byzantine sacral art in the Mediterranean region. 2 The most striking features of the basilica are its mosaics, dating from the 6th century, and which are considered amongst the finest examples of Byzantine art in the world. Continue to Rovinj – a typical medieval Venetian town, distinctive for its romantic narrow little streets and the imposing church of its patron saint, St. Euphemia. Free time for lunch on own. Continue to Pula; – an ancient town with its well-preserved amphitheatre & Rovinj.

Day 4 Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Opatija to Paklenica National Park (duration approx. 4 hrs) Free time for lunch on route. Visit to Paklenica National Park with local guide (approx. duration 3 hrs) The area of Paklenica National Park stretches on the littoral slope of South Velebit. It covers the area of torrent flows of VelikaPaklenica and Mala Paklenica, and their distinctive canyons carved vertically into the south slopes of Velebit and the broader surrounding area. The relatively small area has an abundance of geomorphologic phenomena and forms, diverse flora and fauna, attractive landscapes and intact nature.
Continuing transfer to Zadar (duration approx. 3,5hrs) Free time on your own. Zadar is the oldest Slavic city on the Adriatic Coast with many historical monuments such as Roman Forum, St .Donat’s Church. Overnight at the hotel in Zadar area.
Day 5 Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Zadar to Krka National Park (duration approx. 1h) Visit to Krka National Park with local guide (duration approx. 2hrs) Surrounded by steep-sided canyons, along which runs the wide and plain rocky area, Krka surprises and enchants visitors with the force and blue colour of its waters, the noise of its cascades, the freshness of its scent, the numerous perennial – though not always visible springs, its rude existence and legends. In summer, it waters thirsty surroundings, supplies coolness to the weary passenger, gives life to fish, plants and birds. The Krka National Park is 12 km far from Sibenik and covers 142.2 sq km of which 25.6 sq km is under water. In a wonderful natural setting, water forms beautiful waterfalls which cascade over 17 natural barriers and precipitate 45 metres. After visiting the national park, transfer to Sibenik for third UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour. Free time for lunch. The Cathedral of St James sightseeing with local guide (duration approx. 1,5hr) The Cathedral of St James in Sibenik (1431-1535), bears witness to the considerable exchanges in the field of monumental arts between Northern Italy, Dalmatia and Tuscany in the 15th and 16th centuries. The three architects who succeeded one another in the construction of the Cathedral – Francesco di Giacomo, GeorgiusMatheiDalmaticus and Niccolò di Giovanni Fiorentino – developed a structure built entirely from stone and using unique construction techniques for the vaulting and the dome of the Cathedral. The form and the decorative elements of the Cathedral, such as a remarkable frieze decorated with 71 sculptured faces of men, women, and children, also illustrate the successful fusion of Gothic and Renaissance art. Day 6 Breakfast at the hotel In the morning – fourth UNESCO World Heritage side in our tour: Historical complex of Split sightseeing tour with local guide (duration approx. 2 hrs) The old town of Split is built on and around the spectacular Roman Palace erected by the Roman Emperor Diocletian (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the 4th century. The walking tour starts with a visit to the cellars of the Palace that are still very well preserved. The cellars offer a good view at how the life in the Palace was organized. Other sites such as the Golden Gate, the Silver Gate, the Peristyle Square etc. will be seen from the outside.
Transfer from Split to Trogir for fifth UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour (Duration approx. 45 min) Free time for lunch.
Historic City of Trogir sightseeing with local guide (duration approx. 1 hr) Trogir is a remarkable example of urban continuity. The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications. It’s beautiful Ro manesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period. Return to Split. Overnight at the hotel in Split area.
Day 7 Breakfast at the hotel In the morning, transfer from Split to Dubrovnik for sixt and last UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour. (Duration approx. 4 hrs) Upon arrival, free time for lunch. Old city of Dubrovnik sightseeing tour with local guide (duration approx. 2 hrs) «….
